Audio Tour Re-released

Route 550 was one of the original roads into southern Ohio. It runs between Athens and Marietta and with the Trillium Media re-release of Sound Tracks: An Audio Tour  you can listen to its history.

Producer Sandra Sleight-Brennan has updated and re-released the 2-hour, round-trip tour on audio CDs. Half of the tour (from Athens to Marietta) is available free as an MP3 download.

This15-part radio series and hour-long documentary began in October 2007 and ran until April 2008. It highlights how some Ohioans' have made the decision to change the way they produce and use their energy. The series tells the story of individuals and businesses that are making their homes and offices more efficient.
